Go Dogo ApS is a company that develops a smart device that connects to the TV and entertains dogs at home. With the help of computer vision, the device can recognize dog postures and give cues to the dog like "Sit" and "Down". If the dog follows the commands, it gets a treat. As an add-on, Go Dogo is working with sound desensitization right now. It tries to minimize dog anxiety, when there are loud noises, by relating the sounds with something positive, such as treats.
One of the greatest challenges to deliver the product to the market was transferring the design from 3D printed prototypes to something that can be produced by injection molding. The new design of the device and its realization was an intense process of interaction with various stakeholders, such as mold manufacturers and component suppliers. The final design was a collaboration with Martin Wraber.
